Paris is green. An integral part of the history and natural landscape of the Jardin des Plantes in Paris since the seventeenth century, the large greenhouses in their Art Deco style glass and metal panes, have come to life again, since their renovation and redevelopment in June 2010.Four greenhouses introduce visitors into the heart of the natural world: the greenhouses of tropical rain forests, deserts and arid environments, New Caledonia, and the history of plants. The museum attached to the great greenhouses in the Jardin des Plantes also provides information about the fragility the natural environment and the ecological challenges posed by tomorrow's environment. Greenhouses open to the public: The greenhouse of tropical rain forests; The greenhouse of deserts and arid environments; The greenhouse of New Caledonia; The greenhouse of the history of plants
